Temperature Requirements
Most medical dressings (such as liquid dressings, hydrocolloid dressings, and gynecological dressings) are recommended to be stored at room temperature (15°C–25°C).
Humidity Control
The environment should be kept dry, with relative humidity generally not exceeding 80%, to prevent the dressing from absorbing moisture and clumping, fostering microbial growth, or sustaining packaging damage.
Light Protection Requirements
Light-sensitive dressings (such as those containing proteins or certain gels) must be stored away from light to prevent component degradation caused by direct sunlight.
Environmental Cleanliness and Ventilation
Storage areas should be clean, dry, and well-ventilated, and kept away from corrosive gases, restrooms, and other sources of high humidity or contamination.
Packaging and Sealing
The original packaging should remain sealed to prevent contamination, evaporation, or physical damage. Once opened, the product should be used as soon as possible-particularly in the case of sterile products.
