1. In cases of active or vascular bleeding, hemostasis should first be achieved using standard methods; hemostasis must be thorough.

2. The medical surface adhesive should not be sprayed into the wound margins or between wound tissues, as this may compromise the healing process.

3. The application site for the medical surface adhesive should be kept as dry as possible at the moment of application to enhance bonding strength.

4. Subcutaneous sutures should be placed as close as possible to the dermis to ensure the incision edges are evenly aligned, thereby facilitating effective adhesion.

5. The quantity of medical surface adhesive applied should not be excessive; it should be sprayed or spread as thinly and evenly as possible to prevent the formation of a thick adhesive scab, which is prone to peeling off.

6. If bleeding persists after spraying the medical surface adhesive, use saline-moistened gauze to wipe the wound surface dry or suction away the blood, then repeat the spraying process. Using dry gauze may result in the gauze adhering to the tissue.

7. When spraying the adhesive during endoscopic procedures, take care to prevent the adhesive mist from contaminating the endoscope lens.

8. If an excessive amount of medical surface adhesive is applied accidentally, it can be wiped away with gauze within 2 seconds. Accidental adhesion on less sensitive skin areas can be reversed using acetone.

9. Instruments used for applying the adhesive must be dry; otherwise, contact with water or moisture will cause the medical surface adhesive to polymerize and cure rapidly. Instruments that have become bonded with the medical surface adhesive can be cleaned using acetone.

When using the adhesive for endoscopic hemostasis: firmly connect the adhesive spray bottle (after loading) to the dedicated endoscopic catheter and tighten the spray nozzle; then, depress the nozzle until the medical surface adhesive begins to dispense, preparing it for use. Ligate or electrocoagulate any obvious bleeding points, and suction away any oozing blood or fluids to ensure the wound surface is relatively dry and clean. Insert the endoscopic catheter through the trocar sheath until the spray nozzle is positioned approximately 3 cm away from the wound surface. Apply the adhesive under pressure; the medical adhesive will cure into a film within 3–5 seconds, providing immediate hemostasis. If bleeding persists, suction away the blood and repeat the application process.
