Product Introduction:
This product uses medical-grade silicone foam as the base material, coated on one side with medical-grade pressure-sensitive adhesive. Silicone foam has excellent resilience and resistance to compression deformation, maintaining cushioning performance for a long time, effectively dispersing pressure and protecting sensitive areas. Its closed-cell structure design gives the product excellent waterproof and moisture-proof performance, effectively blocking liquid penetration, and is itself antibacterial and does not easily breed bacteria. The base material is soft and compressible, with good adhesion and filling properties to irregular surfaces, closely conforming to the body contours for a comfortable wearing experience. The adhesive can be medical-grade silicone gel or acrylic type. The silicone gel adhesive can withstand an extreme temperature range of -73℃ to +260℃, has good adhesion to low surface energy materials, and can be repeatedly repositioned. The tape peel force is designed to be moderate, leaving little adhesive residue upon removal, and is skin-friendly. The product has excellent weather resistance, ozone resistance, and UV resistance, extending its service life in outdoor or special environments. The surface is treated for printing, facilitating product identification.
Applicable Scenarios:
Suitable for medical scenarios requiring long-term cushioning and skin fixation, such as fixation of wearable medical devices, transcutaneous electrical stimulation electrodes (TENS), monitoring electrode accessories, catheter fixation, cushioning pads, internal cushioning and shock absorption of medical devices, prosthetic lining fixation, postoperative drainage tube fixation, and fixation of medical devices requiring high-temperature sterilization. Particularly suitable for medical applications with high requirements for skin sensitization, repeated application, or use in extreme temperature environments.
Unsuitable Scenarios:
Not suitable for direct contact with open wounds (must be used with dressing pads); although it has cushioning properties, it is not suitable for applications requiring extremely thin and highly flexible adhesion; its tensile strength is limited, and excessive stretching can easily deform it; its breathability is worse than non-woven fabric products, making it unsuitable for long-term skin adhesion applications requiring extremely high breathability; its cost is generally higher than ordinary PE or EVA foam products; it is contraindicated for a very small number of individuals with silicone allergies.
