This product uses medical-grade non-woven fabric as the backing material, coated with medical-grade silicone gel. The non-woven fabric substrate is soft and breathable, with excellent skin adhesion, effectively reducing foreign body sensation and improving wearing comfort. The silicone gel has gentle yet long-lasting adhesion, high skin affinity, painless removal, and minimal residue, making it particularly suitable for sensitive skin. It is chemically stable, free of plasticizers and organic solvents, and has low sensitization potential. The silicone gel layer forms a occlusive moisturizing environment, helping to promote wound healing or scar management, while also possessing good waterproof properties to protect the application area.
Applicable Scenarios:
Suitable for surgical incision dressings, chronic wound care, mild exudate absorption, scar repair patches, cosmetic patches, medical tapes, ostomy bag baseplates, transdermal drug delivery system fixation, and other medical scenarios requiring gentle fixation and skin care.
Not Suitable for:
Wounds with a lot of exudation (requires the use of highly absorbent dressings); extremely high stability is required when moving at very irregular joints; although breathable, the backing is more skin-friendly than the gel layer itself, making it unsuitable for occasions requiring a viewing window with extremely high transparency; its tensile recovery is weaker than products with elastic fabric substrates.
