Product Introduction:
This product uses medical-grade polyethylene (PE) film as the base material, coated with medical-grade pressure-sensitive adhesive. The base material is soft and conforms well, with good water resistance and moisture resistance, and low skin irritation. Acrylic or rubber-based adhesives are available, offering different tack levels to meet the diverse needs of medical devices. The tape's peel force is moderately designed, leaving minimal residue upon removal, and is skin- and device-friendly. Some models are tearable by hand for convenient clinical use. It can withstand gamma ray or ethylene oxide sterilization, maintaining stable adhesion without degradation after sterilization, and offers high transparency for easy observation of the application site.
Applicable Scenarios:
Suitable for medical dressing fixation, transparent dressing backing, catheter fixation patches, infusion patches, physiotherapy electrode pad base fabric, surgical films, medical device surface protection, medical packaging sealing, temporary device fixation, and other customized applications.
Not Suitable for the Following Scenarios:
Poor breathability, not suitable for long-term skin contact applications requiring high breathability; limited heat resistance, not suitable for instruments requiring high-temperature sterilization; weak adhesion to certain low surface energy materials; medium tensile strength of the substrate, prone to deformation when excessively stretched.
