Product Introduction:

 

This product uses medical-grade polyurethane (PU) film as the base material, coated with medical-grade pressure-sensitive adhesive. The PU film has extremely high water vapor transmission rate (MVTR), excellent breathability, significantly reducing the risk of skin immersion, while also providing a waterproof and antibacterial barrier function, effectively isolating wounds from external environmental damage. The base material is soft and skin-friendly, highly elastic and conforming, deforming with natural skin movement, ensuring comfortable and stable adhesion even on moving areas. Acrylic or silicone gel adhesives are available, offering different tack levels to meet diverse medical device needs. The tape has moderate peel force, leaving minimal residue upon removal, and is skin-friendly. Some models are tearable by hand for convenient clinical use. High transparency allows for easy observation of the application site.

Applicable Scenarios:

 

Suitable for medical dressing fixation, transparent dressing backing, catheter fixation, infusion dressings, surgical films, stoma baseplates, wound contact layers, medical device surface protection, medical wearable device fixation, scar treatment dressings, and other customized applications.

 

Not Suitable for:

 

Limited tensile strength, prone to deformation when overstretched; weak adhesion to some low surface energy materials; although it has excellent breathability, it is not suitable for direct contact with wounds that need to absorb large amounts of exudate (it needs to be used in conjunction with dressing pads); not suitable for situations requiring extremely high adhesive strength that require repeated peeling.
