The electrode pads are smaller than adult models, and the energy output is designed with a pediatric-specific attenuation mode (typically 50-70J). When used with a compatible defibrillator, the device can automatically identify and switch to pediatric analysis algorithms and energy output to avoid myocardial damage in children. Some models support anterior/posterior placement (one pad on the front, one on the back), suitable for smaller infants, ensuring current reaches the heart. The adhesive uses a medical-grade hypoallergenic formula, ensuring a firm and non-shifting bond. Removal after emergency defibrillation is gentle on the skin and leaves minimal residue. The product packaging clearly indicates the expiration date (usually 2 years), and supports daily/monthly self-testing to ensure availability in emergency situations.

Suitable for emergency defibrillation in pediatric patients under 8 years old or weighing less than 25 kg experiencing cardiac arrest (unresponsive, no breathing, no signs of circulation); pediatric intensive care units (PICU), neonatal intensive care units (NICU), pediatric emergency rooms, public areas of children's hospitals, school clinics, pediatric clinics, children's playgrounds, public places equipped with AEDs (when the AED has a child mode), pre-hospital emergency care for infants and children, and other clinical and emergency scenarios requiring rapid defibrillation for pediatric patients.

Do not apply directly to broken, inflamed, or allergic skin; use with caution if allergic to hydrogel or medical pressure-sensitive adhesive; not suitable for children over 8 years of age or weighing over 25 kg, or adult patients (adult electrode pads should be used); do not reuse; the electrode pad is worn out after one defibrillation discharge and should not be used again for emergency treatment; not suitable for treatment purposes other than cardiac defibrillation; although designed with pediatric energy attenuation, some models may not be compatible with all brands of defibrillators, so device compatibility must be confirmed before use; store away from light, moisture, and high temperatures (recommended storage temperature 0-43℃); use as soon as possible after opening, check the expiration date regularly, and replace if expired. In emergency situations where pediatric electrode pads are unavailable, adult electrode pads can be used as a substitute, but the placement method must be adjusted according to the emergency guidelines.
