Product Introduction:
This product uses a medical-grade polyurethane (PU) film as a backing, coated with medical-grade silicone gel. The PU film has excellent transparency, allowing medical personnel to directly observe wounds or skin conditions; its thin, soft, and elastic texture allows it to closely conform to the body's contours and provides good mobility during movement. The silicone gel layer provides reliable skin adhesion while ensuring gentle and painless removal without damaging the stratum corneum. This product is also waterproof and antibacterial, effectively blocking external contamination while allowing for moderate moisture and air exchange, providing a clean and comfortable microenvironment at the application site.
Applicable Scenarios:
Suitable for transparent dressings, central venous catheter fixation, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation electrodes, monitoring electrodes, surgical films, covering of mild exudative wounds, fixation of wearable medical devices, sports protective tape, and various medical fixation scenarios requiring a transparent observation window.
Not Applicable Scenarios:
Not suitable for highly exudative wounds (PU membrane is breathable but not absorbent); caution should be exercised when fixing areas with excessive skin tension or severe edema; the adhesion of silicone gel to certain silicone oil-contaminated skin surfaces may be reduced; contraindicated for very rare individuals with silicone allergies.
